Numerous family and friends have visited and raved about their Portuguese experiences. This was a country we had to go to.

Madrid deserved much, much more time than we gave it, but I can confidently say that our one full day was a perfect one.

Two full days is all it took for us to remember why Spain has always been one of our favourite countries to visit.

Italy is where our ambitious plans started to funnel down significantly (or did they?), so we honed in our travels on Rome and Florence.

Although a Greek Island, Crete is a destination onto itself.
